LAKE FOREST, Calif. — Diagnostic imaging services provider Insight Imaging is introducing 16 Clearwave kiosks at its Dallas-Fort Worth and California locations.
According to a news release, the kiosks are expected to ease the patient check-in process. The company plans to complete its roulout by year-end.
The systems will give Insight the ability to verify insurance eligibility in real time, increasing the capacity to manage healthcare operations more efficiently, while streamlining financial and administrative processes.
"As healthcare plans become increasingly consumer-driven and customized, the eligibility, reimbursement and verification components are more critical to the successful delivery of patient care,” said Patricia Blank, Insight executive vice president of clinical services and support.
