In-Store Marketing Institute: Dallas-based Blockbuster is rolling out a four-sided kiosk produced by Sony to all its corporate-owned stores. The kiosk holds a 42-inch Sony Bravia HDTV and a PlayStation 3 console that doubles as a Blu-ray player on its front-facing side. The kiosk also merchandises Blu-ray film titles for sale. The kiosk debuted this spring and is in a few thousand of Blockbuster's nearly 4,000 company-owned stores. Franchise storeowners also have expressed interest.
